Project Overview
A brand development project for Apta, a leading brand of garden pots within the garden centre market and the introduction of two new categories. Apta Lightweight - A sustainable sub-brand crafted from recycled and recyclable materials and Signature by Apta - A premium collection of carefully curated pots.

The Brief
A brand refresh of the core Apta brand while maintaining its distinctive colour palette and recognisable identity and the creation and brand identity of the two new ranges.


My Role
By evolving the visual language and expanding the colour palette, I was able to give the Apta brand a fresh, contemporary look for the new season.
Apta Lightweight - During the design process, I adapted the core brand colour to green to reflect the product’s environmentally conscious qualities. I also introduced a feather motif to create a clear visual distinction from the original Apta floral pattern while still maintaining a connection to the parent brand.
Signature by Apta - To communicate its premium position, I deepened the brand’s purple colour to create a more luxurious and prestigious feel. The brand’s signature shape was also incorporated into the typography, providing a refined visual link back to the core Apta identity.
